AGRIman goes to South Korea

It was our absolute pleasure for WhyFarm to be among the Caribbean contingent to have participated at the 9th Global Forum For Rural Advisory Services (GFRAS) Annual Meeting.
GFRAS is made up of regional and Subregional networks.
The network from the Caribbean is known as Caribbean Agricultural Extension Providers Network (CAEPNet

The meeting was held on 23 – 25 October 2018, at the Headquarters of the Rural Development Administration, Jeonju, Republic of Korea

We focused on addressing challenges and seizing opportunities: Developing Effective Partnerships in Rural Advisory Services ( RAS)

One of our side events included the launching of the GFRAS Youth working group that was established at last year’s meeting in Australia.

Our aim is to Youthalize RAS and make it more inclusive of youth, by sharing our creativity in exchange for RAS’s capacity.

It was successful and we are now about to embark on a global campaign to seek all youth Champions in RAS who’s doing creative and innovative businesses along the Agricultural value chain.
Look out for more details on this and the 10th meeting of GFRAS, takes place in Jamaica Jamaica in 2019.

Thank you for a great meeting GFRAS and we look forward to your continued partnership.
